Position Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant – Newcastle – Start Date: ASAP or September.
Salary: £90 - £100 per day.
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support secondary students with autism, ADHD and SEMH across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, general classroom support and behaviour management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD and SEMH.
- Experience working on a 1:1 basis within a secondary setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
- A can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills.
