Position Overview

SEN Teaching Assistant – Newcastle – Start Date: ASAP or September.

Salary: £90 - £100 per day.

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support secondary students with autism, ADHD and SEMH across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, general classroom support and behaviour management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD and SEMH.
  • Experience working on a 1:1 basis within a secondary setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
  • A can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills.
