SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Cardiff

Salary: £82.14 – £88.99 a day

Start date: Immediate Start

An outstanding school based in Cardiff has an opportunity arising for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. The role will entail working 1:1 with a child with challenging behaviour. ALN experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
  • A calm, patient and caring personality
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Child DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
