Location: North East

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils across a range of ages with additional needs including ASD, SEMH and trauma-related needs and learning difficulties.
  • Adapt support strategies to meet individual needs with flexibility, patience and resilience.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff; maintain proactive and supportive classroom assistance.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD or trauma-related needs.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude.
