Part Time Year 5 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Long Eaton – Start Date: ASAP – Salary: £55 – £70 per day.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Year 5 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a long‑term, part‑time basis, working Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The successful Teaching Assistant will support a pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support, encouraging engagement, and helping to manage behaviour in line with school policies.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary setting
- Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient and nurturing approach
- A can‑do attitude and strong communication skills
