These settings are committed to providing inclusive and supportive learning environments where every student is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally through tailored support and high-quality education.
The schools are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term or permanent basis. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with students who require additional support, helping to remove barriers to learning, promote independence and support positive outcomes both inside and outside of the classroom.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, Autism / ASD or additional learning needs
- A patient, caring and resilient approach to supporting students
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Experience working within an educational, care or support setting
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider support team
- A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student development
