Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils feel safe, supported and engaged throughout their learning journey.

Responsibilities

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Reception who has been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, supporting the child throughout the school day from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Support engagement, routine, communication and social development.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
