We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding team.
The Role:
Supporting students with PMLD, SLD and complex medical needs
Assisting with personal care, communication support and sensory-based learning activities
Working closely with the class teacher and therapy teams to deliver individualised learning plans
Using specialist resources and approaches (e.g., PECs, Makaton, sensory integration)
Promoting independence, confidence and emotional well-being in every interaction
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a UK school setting
Strong background supporting students with PMLD and SLD
Confidence in assisting with personal care and manual handling (training can be provided)
A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
The ability to build strong, positive relationships with both students and staff
