SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Birmingham)\\n\\nLocation: Birmingham, West Midlands\\nContract Type: Full-time / Term-time only\\nSalary: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience)\\nStart Date: As soon as possible\\n\\nAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?\\nWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and inclusive Birmingham primary schools.\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of additional needs — including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.\\n\\nYour responsibilities will include:\\n\\nProviding 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND\\n\\nAssisting with classroom management and differentiated learning\\n\\nSupporting pupils to develop independence, confidence, and social skills\\n\\nLiaising with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child thrives\\n\\nContributing to a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment\\n\\nAbout You:\\n\\nWe are looking for someone who is:\\n\\nPatient, empathetic and enthusiastic about helping children succeed\\n\\nExperienced in supporting children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)\\n\\nConfident working as part of a team and using their initiative\\n\\nAdaptable, reliable and proactive in supporting classroom learning\\n\\n(Ideally) Level 2 or 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent\\n\\nWe Offer:\\n\\nA supportive and welcoming school community\\n\\nOngoing professional development and training opportunities\\n\\nThe opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s lives\\n\\nCompetitive pay and a rewarding, fulfilling role\\n\\nTo Apply:\\nPlease send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to:\\n\\nClosing Date: october 24th\\nInterviews: Ongoing – early applications encouraged.\\n\\nAll applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive.\\n\\nRegistration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references.
