TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in the Sunderland area. The school aims to provide an academic and pastoral provision for students. The ethos of the school aims to provide a bespoke approach and commitment to inclusivity.
The School is looking for highly experienced and resiliant SEND teaching assistant working across both Key stage 3 and 4. The role will also involve working 1:1, working with students in small groups and supporting the class teacher within the classroom setting.
A successful SEND teaching assistant will have:
Level 2 or above qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools or at least 1 years experience.
Experience working with SEND children with varying needs.
Willing to work across key stages
A great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged.
Exceptional classroom management skills.
