A Special Education provision is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher to cover day to day work across ASD based classes across all stages of the curriculum. It is an ideal role for someone who has a thorough understanding of the needs of ASD and is experienced within the primary curriculum. They are looking for someone who is keen, confident, committed, flexible and most importantly, an excellent team player.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (NQT s encouraged to apply)
- Additional Learning Needs / ALN experience
- Experience teaching Foundation Phase
- The ability to develop and encourage learning
- Be an excellent team player who is passionate about becoming part of the community
- Creative and have the ability to conduct fun and inspiring lessons
- A real desire to make a positive difference to children
