Salary: £140 - £165 per day

The school provides a supportive and structured environment for students with social, emotional and mental health needs, with a strong focus on positive relationships, emotional wellbeing and personalised learning approaches. Staff within the setting are dedicated to helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teacher on a long-term basis. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students with SEMH and challenging behaviour, delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour positively and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages both academic and personal development.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, specifically SEMH
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Experience supporting students with challenging behaviour
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
