TeacherActive is proud to be working with an amazing SEND provision in the Oldham area, supporting with their recruitment for a SEN Teacher. The setting of this school is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills. This amazing school are seeking a passionate team player to take on a long-term position, although there is potential for these to become permanent for the right SEN Teacher. The successful SEN Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school. The position will involve working with students across Key stager 3 and 4 with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary. The successful SEN Teacher will have: SEND Teaching experience. Have a QTS with English as a specialism A good knowledge of the national curriculum. The initiative, ability and desire to deliver fun and engaging lessons. The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
