Salary: £95 - £115 per day

Responsibilities

  • The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across Key Stage 4 / KS4, working closely with teaching staff to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and provide tailored support to students with additional emotional and behavioural needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Experience supporting students within a secondary school or alternative provision setting
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude
