SEMH Teaching Assistants Needed

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work on a day to day, short term and long term basis in SEMH/SEND schools based in Redditch. We are looking for people who have experience working with challenging students who are looking for a slight career change to move into a school environment.

The school are requiring extra staff due to extra student referrals which has meant that the school are needing extra staff to work 1:1 and general classroom help.

Responsibilities: Support pupils out of the classroom, with pastoral and personal development Manage behaviour of pupils sent out of class, freeing up other TAs Patrol school working with pupils not in class, for whatever reason

Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience working with teenagers ,strong behaviour management, team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work, experience within an SEMH school or setting.

In return the successful Learning Support Assistants and Learning Mentors will receive:
