SEMH Teaching Assistants Needed TeacherActive are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work on a day to day, short term and long term basis in SEMH/SEND schools based in Henley-In-Arden. We are looking for people who have experience working with challenging students who are looking for a slight career change to move into a school environment. The school are requiring extra staff due to extra student referrals which has meant that the school are needing extra staff to work 1:1 and general classroom help. Responsibilities: Support pupils out of the classroom, with pastoral and personal development Manage behaviour of pupils sent out of class, freeing up other TAs Patrol school working with pupils not in class, for whatever reason Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience working with teenagers ,strong behaviour management, team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work, experience within an SEMH school or setting. In return the successful Learning Support Assistants and Learning Mentors will receive: ·A great rate of pay ·Sufficient time to plan and prepare lessons ·The chance to choose when you want to work ·A high level of support provided by your dedicated SEND Consultant ·The opportunity to make a genuine difference ·Offer free CPD advice and support All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
