Secondary Teacher

This school provides a high standard of education and focuses on students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a secondary setting and provides them with a daily structure and routine to ensure the best learning environment for their individual needs.

The school is looking for a determined Secondary Teacher with the potential of a permanent position. The successful Secondary Teacher will be confident and adaptable in working mostly with Key Stage 3/KS3 and Key Stage 4/KS4 helping them to meet their milestones and giving them 1 to 1 support. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have the following:

• a QTS, ECTs are welcome to apply!
• Experience working with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child and adult protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
• Excellent classroom management
