TeacherActive is currently recruiting Level 3 Cover Supervisors to work in a partnership secondary school in Fishguard. This is a fantastic opportunity for confident and adaptable education professionals looking for flexible or full-time work within supportive school environments.
The Role
- Deliver pre-set lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Supervise pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
- Maintain a calm, positive, and productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
- Support pupils with their learning and encourage positive engagement
- Build strong professional relationships with pupils and school staff
- Adapt confidently to different classroom environments and school settings
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Education, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a relevant subject
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Experience working within a secondary school environment is desirable
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
