Salary: £110 - £140 per day

Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for a new opportunity within a secondary school setting? Do you have a strong understanding of COSHH regulations and laboratory safety procedures? Are you organised, proactive and able to support engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics?

The school is looking to appoint a Science Technician on a full‑time temporary supply basis from 1st June. The successful Science Technician will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and setting up practical resources for Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, while ensuring laboratory equipment is safe, organised and compliant with COSHH regulations.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within a school laboratory environment
  • A strong understanding of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures
  • Experience preparing practical resources for Science lessons
  • Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratory equipment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
