Are you an experienced School Cook looking for a rewarding role within a busy secondary school?
Do you have a passion for preparing nutritious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment?
Do you hold a City & Guilds qualification or a minimum Level 4 Culinary qualification?
Job Responsibilities
- Working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.
- Preparing and serving meals.
- Maintaining food hygiene standards.
- Supporting stock management.
- Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently each day.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds qualification in Catering, Professional Cookery or a minimum Level 4 Culinary qualification (essential).
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent desirable.
- Previous experience working as a School Cook, Cook, Catering Assistant or within a commercial kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
