About the Role

The successful School Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. Acting as the first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors, and external agencies, you will help maintain a welcoming and professional environment at all times.

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 13:45

Or

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:15

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a comprehensive and efficient administrative service
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils (face-to-face, telephone, and email)
  • Use school management systems such as Bromcom or Arbor confidently
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, responding to requests as required
  • Manage queries and complaints professionally in line with school procedures
  • Handle multiple tasks calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Support school events, trips, and wider activities where required
  • Maintain accurate records with excellent attention to detail

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a school administration role
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Experience using Bromcom, Arbor, or similar school systems
  • Confident, friendly, and personable approach
  • Strong multitasking, organisational, and IT skills
