These settings are committed to creating positive and inclusive learning environments where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and socially, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and individual development.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to work on a temporary supply basis across a variety of specialist settings in Scarborough. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students across different age groups with needs including Autism / ASD, SEMH, ADHD and communication difficulties. Roles are available on both short-term and long-term placements, offering flexibility and variety.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working within SEND settings
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD, SEMH or ADHD
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
