At TeacherActive, we are working closely with a network of primary schools across South Wales. Right now, we are on the lookout for inspiring Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic schools in Pembrokeshire. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a trauma-informed approach to working with children and young people, as well as experience supporting pupils who present with challenging behaviour. An understanding of how emotional, social, and environmental factors impact learning is a valuable asset in these roles.
For the right person, this position can lead to a full-time, long-term placement, so availability for ongoing work is ideal.

What we’re looking for from our Teaching Assistant:
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive
- Experience supporting children with ALN either 1:1 or in small groups
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches is a real advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
