Overview
TeacherActive is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic education professionals to join the vibrant college in Stoke-On-Trent as temporary lecturers or teachers. The role involves teaching a range of subjects and qualifications, including A Levels, GCSE resits, BTEC, national diplomas, NVQ, and T-Levels, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the agreed subjects and qualifications.
- Engage learners in active learning, providing clear instruction and timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
- Adhere to the college’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and DBS compliance.
Qualifications
- Applicants should ideally hold a PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience in the following subject areas: Construction, Animal Care, Electronics, Business, Accounting, Hair and Beauty, AS/A Level subjects, GCSE English/Maths, Functional Skills, and Plumbing.
- Evidence of industry experience may be acceptable for some vocational teaching roles.
