Do you have experience supporting and teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4? Are you confident managing a secondary classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment? Are you an adaptable Cover Supervisor who can confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Salford, who are looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for students across KS3 and KS4 and is looking for a confident and reliable individual who can positively contribute to the school environment.
The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of their usual teacher.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience teaching or supporting students across KS3 and KS4
- Experience working within a mainstream secondary school environment
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach
