Do you have the ability to engage and support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with SEMH needs? The setting provides a structured and supportive environment, helping students build confidence, develop practical skills and re-engage with education through tailored learning opportunities.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant with Construction experience on a temp to perm basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students both in the classroom and during vocational activities, promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement with learning.
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- A background in Construction or vocational learning
- Previous experience supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
