TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Rugby to recruit a Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term opportunity. The school provides a supportive learning environment where staff work collaboratively to help students achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensure students remain engaged with the work set by the class teacher, and maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school day.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students within a school environment
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt quickly and work using your own initiative
- A positive, enthusiastic and reliable approach
