TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery based in Tunbridge Wells, who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Room Leader to join their team from September.
This thriving nursery prides itself on providing a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through high-quality early years experiences. The nursery is seeking an experienced Room Leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a designated room. The successful candidate will lead a team of practitioners, oversee planning in line with the EYFS curriculum, build strong relationships with parents and carers, and ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained at all times.
The successful Room Leader will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or above)
- Previous experience working within a nursery setting
- Experience leading a room or supervising other practitioners
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children and staff
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding practice
