We are seeking a Lecturer in Land Based Engineering with industry experience to deliver high quality vocational education in a supportive further education environment.
Responsibilities
- The successful Lecturer will teach and support learners across a range of land-based engineering programmes, delivering engaging lessons, assessing learner progress, and helping students develop the practical skills and knowledge required for employment within the industry.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline such as forestry, horticulture or agriculture
- GCSE Grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or the willingness to achieve these qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work toward one
- Previous experience teaching at the relevant level and subject is desirable
- Strong administrative, organisational and IT skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic approach with the ability to inspire learners and achieve targets
