TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic nursery setting in Rothwell that provides a welcoming and engaging environment for children to learn, develop and thrive. The setting promotes child-led learning through stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces, creating positive early learning experiences for every child.
The nursery is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a full-time or part-time basis, with opportunities for both long-term and permanent employment or even just day-to-day cover. The successful Nursery Practitioner will primarily support children within the Pre-School room, helping to deliver engaging activities, monitor progress and promote independence in preparation for school.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification highly desired, but not required if highly experienced
- Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner within an Early Years setting
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning opportunities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach
