TeacherActive is looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist SEND school in Rotherham. This particular setting is a vibrant, stimulating, and supportive community for pupils aged 2–19 with severe and profound and/or multiple learning difficulties. Spread across two specialist sites in Rotherham, each location is designed to meet individual pupil needs through tailored curriculum pathways and access to a wide variety of educational and therapeutic activities.

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will be:
- Level 2/3 Qualified in supporting children (desirable)
- Experienced in working with children/adults who have SEND (essential)
- Calm, patient, and caring in their approach
- Confident with behaviour management strategies
- Knowledgeable about child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experienced in supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis
