Are you confident delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2? Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced HLTA looking to develop your career in a supportive school environment? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Rotherham that is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. This position is ideal for a newly qualified teacher to aide you in your career.
The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their best, and staff are valued for their commitment to delivering high-quality education. The school is looking to appoint a full-time HLTA to start on 1st September. The successful HLTA will provide whole class cover in the absence of teachers, deliver planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and support pupils through small group interventions and 1:1 tuition. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience are also encouraged to apply.
The successful HLTA will have:
- HLTA status, QTS or a recognised equivalent qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience supporting teaching and learning within a UK Primary School
- Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Experience leading small group interventions and providing 1:1 tuition
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and staff
