Are you an experienced Pastoral Manager with a passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you have the confidence to provide effective behaviour support and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents? The school is a mainstream middle school in Redditch looking to appoint a full‑time Pastoral Manager from September, working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. The role includes:
- Parental liaison
- Safeguarding support
- Organising and implementing re‑focus sessions for students
- Providing on‑call behaviour support to staff across the school
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a pastoral, behaviour or student support role within a school setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection responsibilities
- Experience supporting behaviour management and building positive relationships with students and families
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm, resilient and professional in challenging situations
- Proactive and compassionate approach to supporting young people
