We are currently seeking an experienced Religious Education Teacher to join a high‑achieving secondary school in West London. The successful applicant will also teach Philosophy at KS5, supporting the growth of the newly established sixth form. The Humanities Department at this school is strong, and therefore RE ECTs are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the full Religious Education and Philosophy curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5, while supporting the development of the newly established sixth form.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence.
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, and the skills and knowledge needed to teach Philosophy at KS5.
- Foster positive relationships with students, setting and maintaining high expectations.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing.
- Hold UK right to work.
