Job Title: SEND Teacher

Main Details
TeacherActive is proud to partner with a SEND provision based in north Essex. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. The culture emphasizes patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential while promoting independence. The school is looking to recruit a permanent SEND Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful teacher will work directly with students across all Key Stages, ages 5–19, with many diagnosed with Autism/ ASD, Learning Difficulties/ LD, or Attention Deficit Disorder/ ADD.
Responsibilities
- Work with students across all Key Stages (ages 5–19) in a SEND provision.
- Support students who have Autism/ ASD, LD, ADD/ADHD and other additional needs.
- Work with therapeutic practices to support children’s development.
Qualifications
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs (ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD)
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
