Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a long-term opportunity? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in the Rochdale area. The setting provides bright, engaging learning environments with a strong focus on child-led learning, outdoor exploration and supporting children to develop their confidence, curiosity and independence. The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Plan and deliver activities to support children’s development
  • Work closely with families to share information about progress and wellbeing
  • Adhere to Early Years regulations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification in line with government guidelines
  • Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and the responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner
  • Strong communication skills when working with children, families and colleagues
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
