Are you a dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher who is looking to take the next step in their career? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant Further Education college in Liverpool, delivering engaging lessons to students aged 14–18.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics for KS4 and KS5 students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Provide individual learning plans for Learning Support Assistants to support SEND students during 1:1 sessions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
About You:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have proven in-classroom experience, particularly with KS4 and KS5 students.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Be enthusiastic, personable, and proactive in supporting student learning.
- Preferably have experience in providing 1:1 support for students who find the work more challenging.
