About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in South Yorkshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of our primary-aged students, ensuring that every child receives the attention and encouragement they need to succeed. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support student\’s social and emotional development.
- Supervise activities, including playtime and class projects.
Skills & Qualities
- Enthusiasm & Patience: A passion for working with children and the patience to support their learning journey.
- Strong Communication Skills: To effectively work with teachers, parents, and students.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to the needs of the classroom.
- Experience or Qualifications: Previous experience working with children, or a qualification in child care or education, is essential for this role.
