What the role involves:
- Supporting learning through classroom, small‑group and one‑to‑one activities.
- Helping children build confidence, independence and social skills.
- Adapting support to different abilities, including pupils with SEND.
- Working alongside teachers to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and keeping children engaged.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children in a UK education setting.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, desirable.
- A caring, proactive approach and the flexibility to adapt.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for children’s development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
