Salary: £120 - £160 Per Day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schools that are currently looking for Qualified Primary Teachers, who are looking for more working flexibility to provide day-to-day cover, working across KS1 and KS2.

You will be working with a warm and positive team in Widnes, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach to learning. The setting looks after up to 30 children in each classroom, with indoor and outdoor areas split into age-appropriate sections and sensory-enhancing activities. The school aims to challenge children in a safe and secure environment to aid learning in a positive manner.

We are looking for Qualified Primary Teachers who want to expand their knowledge of local schools and work flexibly on a day-to-day basis. You may be required to cover across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day cover across KS1 and KS2 in mainstream primary schools in Widnes.
  • Contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment using a therapeutic approach to learning.

Qualifications

  • QTS
  • Child enhanced DBS (registered on the update service)
  • Can-do approach with willingness to get involved
  • Adaptability
