TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schools that are currently looking for Qualified Primary Teachers, who are looking for more working flexibility to provide day-to-day cover, working across KS1 and KS2.
You will be working with a warm and positive team in Widnes, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach to learning. The setting looks after up to 30 children in each classroom, with indoor and outdoor areas split into age-appropriate sections and sensory-enhancing activities. The school aims to challenge children in a safe and secure environment to aid learning in a positive manner.
We are looking for Qualified Primary Teachers who want to expand their knowledge of local schools and work flexibly on a day-to-day basis. You may be required to cover across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day cover across KS1 and KS2 in mainstream primary schools in Widnes.
- Contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment using a therapeutic approach to learning.
Qualifications
- QTS
- Child enhanced DBS (registered on the update service)
- Can-do approach with willingness to get involved
