Overview: TeacherActive is proud to work with a mainstream Primary School on the outskirts of Torquay, seeking a driven and enthusiastic Primary Teacher. The role is long‑term with the potential to become a permanent position, supporting the Senior Leadership Team to develop the candidate from day one. The successful applicant will work across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver and assess teaching across KS1 and KS2.
- Manage classroom effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Support the development of pupils' social, emotional and academic skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders to enhance curriculum and practice.
Qualifications:
- QTS (or ECTs are welcomed).
- Primary teaching experience in the UK.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
