Special Needs Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is working in partnership with a specialist education provider in the Preston area, catering to children and young people with complex needs including autism. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive team, starting this September.

The Role:

  • Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs

  • Assisting with personal care as required

  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a holistic approach to education

  • Helping create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Contributing to pupils educational and emotional development

About You:

  • Experience supporting children or young adults with autism is essential

  • Comfortable with delivering personal care
