Salary: £160 - £220 per day
Are you a qualified teacher with experience delivering engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum? Do you have experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional learning needs? Can you provide consistent and effective classroom cover while maintaining a positive learning environment?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist Primary school in Oldbury supporting pupils with PMLD. The school provides a supportive learning environment focused on meeting the individual needs of its pupils and helping them engage positively with their education.
The school is looking to take on a PPA Cover Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful PPA Cover Teacher will provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing the classroom effectively and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD.
The successful PPA Cover Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience teaching within a Primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional learning needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum
- A patient, adaptable and positive approach
