TeacherActive are recruiting for an Inclusion Support Assistant to join a supportive educational setting from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils through bespoke learning programmes designed to help them achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching and support staff to deliver targeted interventions, support pupils both in and out of the classroom, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment for students who require additional support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with Additional Learning Needs
- Experience delivering intervention programmes or targeted learning support
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying needs
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a wider team
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering small group and 1:1 intervention sessions
- Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider learning activities
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to relevant staff
- Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting students with identified learning and wellbeing needs
- Working closely with colleagues, pupils, and families to support positive outcomes
