Are you a qualified Learning Support Assistant with an impressive amount of experience working with children that have ALN? Do you take pride in building good relationships with children? Can you inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style on a 1:1 basis?
TeacherActive is excited to be working with an excellent Primary School in Porth. The school strives to provide their pupils with the best possible start in life and provides opportunities for every child to reach their potential. Their staff are committed to providing excellent teaching and learning activities so that pupils acquire a range of transferable skills, knowledge and understanding through the curriculum.
The Primary School is looking to take on a passionate Teaching Assistant / TA on a part-time basis, with the opportunity of a potential full-time role. The successful applicant will be working in the foundation phase, supporting pupils in developing their learning in an inclusive environment on a one-to-one basis. This role will be a great opportunity to gain an abundance of experience working as a Teaching Assistant / TA in a welcoming, high standard environment.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 months experience in an educational establishment
- Ability to support the child’s educational and social development
- Excellent verbal communication skills
