TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming private day nurseries in Pontefract and surrounding areas to recruit Early Years Assistants. The nurturing settings are committed to providing safe, stimulating and engaging environments where children can learn, play and thrive through high quality early years education.
We are looking to appoint Early Years Assistants on a day-to-day basis, with permanent opportunities also available. The successful Early Years Assistant will support children across the nurseries, assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for every child.
The successful Early Years Assistant will have:
- A minimum of six months' experience working within a childcare setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- A willingness to support across different age groups where required
