TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support KS1 and KS2 schools across Plymouth for immediate starts. We are looking for passionate individuals who can build positive relationships with pupils, support learning in the classroom, and help create an engaging and inclusive environment where children can thrive. Opportunities are available for both experienced Teaching Assistants and those looking to gain further school-based experience.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and/or KS2
- Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation
- Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children within a school or educational setting
- A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
