A successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND, including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach to supporting learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
