Join a Welcoming Primary School in Leeds. Are you a Level 3 EYFS practitioner or higher looking for a role supporting primary school-aged pupils? TeacherActive is seeking a Playworker in Leeds to work in a small 1-form entry primary school, supporting the before and after school club. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role involves working from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting a wide range of subjects up to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management skills
- Level 3 EYFS qualification or equivalent
- A nurturing and calming manner, with experience working with pupils of all ages
- Ability to create a safe and trusting environment outside of usual school hours
