TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Huddersfield. The school provides high standards of education and has recently been awarded a Good OFSTED rating. This largely populated school boasts fantastic sports facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.
The Head Teacher is looking to take on a driven Physical Education Teacher, on a Long-Term basis until the end of the year. This will lead to a permanent position for the right PE Teacher. The successful PE Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.
The school is seeking an interactive teacher who will have a hands-on approach to their teaching. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.
Responsibilities- Deliver Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS3/KS4).
- Follow and implement the school schemes of learning.
- Contribute to student engagement and achievement through practical and theoretical teaching.
- QTS with Physical Education specialism (ECTs are welcome).
- Experience teaching Physical Education KS3-KS5.
- Excellent classroom management.
