TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH provision in Wolverhampton, supporting young people across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The setting promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and independence through personalised support and engaging learning experiences.
The provision is looking to appoint a dedicated PE Instructor on a full-time, long-term basis with an ASAP start. The successful PE Instructor will deliver engaging physical education sessions, support students with SEMH needs, promote positive behaviour and wellbeing, and help pupils achieve both academically and personally through sport and physical activity.
The successful PE Instructor will have:
- Experience delivering PE, sports coaching or physical education sessions to young people
- Experience supporting students with SEMH, behavioural needs or additional learning needs
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A positive, resilient and adaptable approach to supporting learners
- The ability to motivate and engage students across KS3 and KS4
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
